One of my personal favorite design projects, this website was also a technical challenge. If I had been working with a seperate designer, I would have voiced concerns over the design elements anchored to the bottom corners. But since I had designed it myself, I was forced to figure out how to emulate position: fixed; in Internet Explorer.

This website has also been a web standards search engine optimization success story. When the website first launched it was competing with, shall we say, some of the less savory aspects of Los Angeles. As of summer 2007, the author Jade Lee dominates the first page of search results in Google, Yahoo, and MSN.
