I designed 3 comps and implemented the internal client's choice in this simple yet essential expense tracking application. Although fear of the legal department made us remove the food motif, and my tagline "Plying customers with food", the clients did appreciate the attempt to bring a sense of humor to the work. As work progressed I was able to make changes inside the application to shift the data being presented from the company's regional orientation, to the clients people oriented perspective. From an outsider's perspective it was an illogical decision, but being able to fine tune an application for the client's particular needs is what makes a small development team so valuable.
